Carrie Elston is an artist who currently lives and works in New York. After graduating from Yale in '03, she spent several years working as a studio assistant to various artists in New York City. She also participated constructing Christo's Gates in Central Park. Carrie is currently getting her MFA from Hunter College. Beyond her art practice she is on the steering committee of NRDC's New York Council, a Young Patron of the Lincoln Center Theater, a member of PS1's Student Body and the Flea Theater, and a founder of Mapcidy.com.
